Shipping Policy

Local Pickup & Local Delivery

At this time, Barnyard Crafted does not offer nationwide or standard shipping. All products are handcrafted to orderand are available through:

  • Local Pickup from our workshop, or

  • Local Delivery within Kansas City, Missouri and surrounding areas

Delivery availability, fees, and scheduling will be confirmed during the ordering process and may vary based on product size, location, and site accessibility.

Because many of our products are large, custom-built, or structure-based (such as chicken coops and homestead structures), local fulfillment ensures proper handling, quality control, and a smooth installation or handoff.

We currently serve:

  • Kansas City, MO

  • Surrounding metro and nearby rural areas

If you are unsure whether your location qualifies for local delivery, please contact us prior to placing an order. We are often able to accommodate nearby locations on a case-by-case basis.

Order Processing & Lead Times

All products are built to order. Estimated build times will be provided at the time of purchase and may vary depending on:

  • Product type and customization

  • Current production volume

  • Material availability

Once your order is complete, we will coordinate pickup or delivery scheduling directly with you.

Damage & Responsibility

For local deliveries, we take care to ensure products arrive in excellent condition. Customers are encouraged to inspect products upon delivery or pickup. Any concerns should be reported immediately so they can be addressed promptly.

Return & Exchange Policy

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Most products from Barnyard Crafted are custom-built or made to order. Because of the nature of handcrafted and customized items:

  • All custom and made-to-order products are final sale

  • Returns or refunds are not accepted once production has begun

This includes, but is not limited to, custom chicken coops, homestead structures, and any product built to a customer’s specifications.

Local Pickup & Delivery Orders

Customers are encouraged to inspect their product at the time of local pickup or delivery.

If there is a concern regarding workmanship or materials:

  • The issue must be reported at the time of delivery or pickup

  • We will assess the concern and, if appropriate, repair or correct the issue

We do not accept returns for products that have been used, altered, or relocated after delivery.
